AHMET ÖKSÜZ ( 2018 - )

He was born in 1970 in K.Maraş. Ahmet Öksüz, who is the Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors of Kipaş Holding, completed his high school education at Istanbul Kabataş Boys' High School and his university education at Yıldız Technical University, Department of Mechanical Engineering. Öksüz, who completed his master's degree at the University of Florida in 1993, started his business life at Kipaş Holding, which operates in many fields, especially textiles, in the same year.

Between 1999 and 2018, he served as "Board Member and Vice President" at İTHİB. He served as the "President of the Apparel Sector Assembly" at TOBB. Between 2008 and 2018, he represented our country as a Board Member of Euratex European Textile Federation.

At the İTHİB General Assembly held in 2018, he was elected as the Chairman of the Board of Directors to serve in the 2018-2022 period.

Öksüz, who is a member of Fenerbahçe Sports Club and 1907 Association, speaks English and German.

İSMAİL GÜLLE (2003 - 2018)

He was born in Sivas in 1960. He completed his primary and secondary education in Sivas. After graduating from Istanbul Technical University, Faculty of Electrical Engineering, he completed his specialization program at Istanbul University Business and Economics Institute.

He is currently the Chairman of the Board of Directors of an integrated company that produces cotton yarn, knitted fabric manufacturing, dyeing textile finishing and produces its own energy. He served as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Istanbul Textile and Raw Materials Exporters' Association between 2003 and 2018.

At the same time, it is a member of ISO and İTO. He speaks English. He is married and has two children.

OĞUZ SATICI (1999-2003)

He was born in Istanbul in 1965. After completing his primary education at Reşitpaşa Primary School and his secondary education at Mahmutpaşa Secondary School, he continued his high school education at Kabataş Boys' High School. He started his business life at an early age in the family company Oğuz İplik. While working, he received his bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Washington International University. He founded Teksfil İplik Örme Sanayi ve Ticaret AŞ, which is engaged in textile production, export and domestic trade, in 1991, and Polaris Tekstil Sanayi Ticaret AŞ in 1994.

He became a member of the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce (ITO) Council in 1990 and a member of the ITO Board of Directors in 1995. He served as a Board Member at the Economic Development Foundation between 1996-1998. He was the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Istanbul Textile and Raw Materials Exporters' Association between 1999-2003. and served as the President of the Turkish Exporters' Assembly between 2001 and 2008.

EVRENSEL ERDOĞAN (1995-1999)

He was born in Çanakkale in 1935. After graduating from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in 1959, he worked in various factories of Türkiye Şeker Fabrikaları A.Ş. until 1967. Between 1967 and 1972, he worked at Entes A.Ş. He served as the General Manager. He served as the General Manager of Gimsan Gediz İplik ve Mensucat Sanayii A.Ş. between 1972 and 2003. He served as a Board Member and Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Istanbul Textile and Raw Materials Exporters' Association between 1979 and 1995, and as Deputy Chairman between 1995 and 1999. He served as Chairman of the Board of Directors between the years.

ERTEKİN ASHABOĞLU (1986-1987/1989-1995)

He was born in Denizli in 1935. He graduated from Galatasaray High School in 1954, completed his higher education at Philadelphia College of Textiles and Science in America and graduated as a Textile Engineer in 1960.

He was engaged in textile trade between 1963 and 1973 and worked as Trakya İplik Sanayi A.Ş. Ashaboğlu, who speaks English and French, is married and has 2 children. He served as Chairman, Deputy Chairman and Member of the Board of Directors of the Istanbul Textile and Raw Materials Exporters Association, which was established in 1975.

HALİT NARİN (1975-1978 /1987-1989)

He was born in Istanbul in 1930. After graduating from Istanbul Boys' High School, he completed his Textile Engineering education at Bolton College of Technology in England. He started his business life in 1948. In 1951, his father Nurullah Narin founded NARİN TEKSTİL İŞLETMELERİ A.Ş. in Bakırköy. Narin Mensucat, the construction of which started in Çerkezköy in 1972, started production in 1974.

He was elected Vice President of the Turkish Textile Industry Employers' Union in 1964 and Vice President in 1974. He has been serving as President since 1974.

He served as the Vice President of the Confederation of Turkish Employers' Associations (TISK) in 1972 and the President in 1974, and resigned from this position in 1989. He was elected as the Honorary President of TISK in 2001. He served in the Istanbul Textile and Raw Materials Exporters' Association, founded in 1975, between 1975-1978 and 1987. He served as the Chairman of the Board of Directors between 1989 and 1989. In September 2004, he was elected as the Vice President of the International Textile Industrialists' Federation (ITMF).

RUSTÜ AKIN (1978-1986)

Rüştü AKIN, who was born in Buldan/Denizli in 1915, completed his education at Rüştiye and started his business life in Buldan with the family art of weaving. He came to Istanbul in 1934 and while he was dealing with domestic goods trade, he also received special education to learn foreign languages. After the Second World War ended, he started foreign trade to expand his business. He chose to stay in America for a while and learn about world trade by experience.

AKIN TEKSTİL factory, which he established with his brother in 1956 with 40 looms and 23 people, has today become an integrated facility from yarn to ready-made garments.

In addition to Akın Tekstil A.Ş., Akın Holding A.Ş., Edip İplik San.Tic.A.Ş., Edpa Pazarlama A.Ş., Edpa Kimya San. And Trade. A.Ş., Akın Mensucat A.Ş. and Aked A.G. abroad. (Basel-Switzerland), Edpa U.S.A. Inch. Rüştü Akın, who formed the Akın Group of Companies by establishing Tekstil Bankası A.Ş. in Turkey with his (New York-USA) Companies, also served as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Istanbul Textile and Raw Materials Apparel Exporters' Association between 1978 and 1986. Textile Employers' Union, He was a member of TÜSİAD, Turkish Clothing Manufacturers Association, Istanbul Chamber of Industry and Istanbul Chamber of Commerce.

Rüştü AKIN, who made numerous contributions to our country's textile industry and the development of education, passed away on 09.12.1996.
